How many treatments will I need to see results?
It depends on the individual, their age, their diet, healthcare regimen, and their skin condition.
In general, you may begin to notice improvements after two to four treatments.
Most people undergo four to six consecutive treatments spaced four to six weeks apart before they achieve their best results and can then return periodically for maintenance.
Some conditions, such as acne, age spots, and hyperpigmentation can require as many as 10-12 consecutive monthly treatments.

Before receiving any treatment, there is a REQUIRED intake to complete. During this intake, our practitioner and owner, Dana Scarton, will gather information about your health history, your skin concerns, your skin-care routine and any skin conditions you’ve experienced. She’ll then create a custom treatment plan for you.

Before coming in to receive microneedling treatment, please know:
- The microneedling portion can be slightly stimulating, especially on the facial regions where the skin is not thick or when the device is directly over bone, such as on the forehead.
- Lighter pressure is used on such regions and gentle press tacks are used on the limbs to balance energy.
- A CBD serum is applied to the face 15 minutes prior to treatment to dull sensations. Most people find the treatments are comfortable after this application.
- After treatment, we advise avoiding sun, exercise, sweating, harsh cleaners, and makeup for 24.
- There are some conditions and circumstances that warrant avoiding or delaying microneedling treatment:
- Undergoing radiation treatment
- Having an active skin or autoimmune condition that affects the skin
- Active, inflammatory acne or herpes labialis (cold sores)
- Predisposition to keloids
- Uncontrolled diabetes or immunosuppression
- Use of Acutane within the past year
- Use of Botox or other fillers/injectables within the past two months
- Smoking or having a poor history of wound healing
- Patients on blood thinners such as Coumadin or Plavix
- Pregnancy
- Active sunburn
- Having undergone a recent facial surgery or dermatological procedure
- Hemophilia
