Privacy.

This website has no forms, no trackers and no analytics. Here is what happens when you email, text or book, and what the practice does with what you tell it.

The short version

This website has no contact forms, no newsletter signup and no advertising trackers. It does not ask you for anything, and it does not collect anything about you as you read it.

Everything below describes what happens when you choose to get in touch.

If you email or text

Email to thezenpoint.bethesda@gmail.com is received and stored in Google’s email service. Texts and calls to (301) 264-8574 go to Dana’s phone. She reads and answers both herself; nobody else at the practice sees them, because there is nobody else at the practice.

Please keep clinical detail out of text messages. Texting is not a secure channel, and it is meant here for scheduling, rescheduling and asking for a call back.

If you book an appointment

Booking is handled by Jane, a third-party practice-management service, at thezenpoint.janeapp.com. What you enter there is held by Jane under its own privacy policy and terms, not by this website. Your clinical records are kept in Jane.

Your health information

Health information you give Dana during an intake or a treatment is part of your clinical record and is kept confidential. It is not shared with anyone without your permission, with the usual exceptions the law requires.

Dana will share treatment notes with another clinician — a physician, a physical therapist, a neurologist — only when you ask her to.

What this site loads from elsewhere

  • Google Fonts serves the typefaces. Google receives a request from your browser when a font loads.
  • Google Maps is embedded on the contact page. Loading that map is a request to Google.
  • Links out to Jane and to Google reviews take you to those services, which have their own policies.

There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

Questions, or a request

Email Dana. If you want to know what she holds about you, want a copy, or want it corrected or deleted, ask and she will tell you what is possible.

Worth saying

This page describes how the practice actually operates. It is not a substitute for legal advice, and it should be reviewed by an attorney before it is relied on as one.

What happens next

Ask her directly.

Dana reads her own email. If you want to know what the practice holds about you, or want it corrected or removed, write and ask.
